Introducing ...

What if our latest technology could help people of all cultures, ethnicity, and income levels
to learn about the many “little things” that can change lifestyles, perceptions, and health?

What if these little things
... could help a woman with cancer to see this experience in a whole new light,
with an opportunity to participate in her healing and express a whole new sense of purpose in her life?

What if these little things
... could help to develop healthier and more resilient youth and children,
and affect the crisis of obesity and eating disorders of 25 million children and youth in America today?

What if these little things
... could help to prevent some of the major chronic health issues that are on the rise,
while improving self-esteem, self-image and our experience of wellness overall?

What ARE these “little things?”

The mind-body-spirit network is a complex, interconnected system.

Science has found that we can communicate with this network through everyday tools
in order to affect a physiological outcome that can changes lives —
quite often in a BIG WAY!

These tools are often viewed as “little” to our cultural world
because they are natural and potentially accessible to all.

They are preventative as well as interventional.
And since they can be incorporated into the actions of everyday life,
the scope of their power is limitless.

These “little” things are ...
the well-documented, research-supported tools of
nutrition
stress management
exercise
energy therapies

and methods that incorporate the power of the mind and spirit through
guided imagery, journaling, meditation,
and even prayer

The National Institute of Health
recognizes these various Complementary and Alternative (CAM) therapies
through a Whole Medicine Model that groups them into 4 categories:

So how can these “little things” make a BIG impact?

With today’s trends in technology, it is easer than ever to reach a large audience
through DVDs, IPODs, PDA’s, internet access, and even cell phones.

Excited word-of-mouth sharing has no limits when a message speaks
to one’s nature with passion and empowering personal hope.

Who benefits?

All income and educational levels will benefit
from the opportunity to make informed choices
about health and lifestyle, when all of us know more about the supportive tools
(yes, those "little things")
that help us deal with:

Cancer
Eating disorders
Anxiety
Depression
Chronic pain
Trauma
Illiteracy
Unhealthy relationships
Aging

And much more!
